Earth Hour!

It's Earth Hour on Saturday 28th March 2009. You should turn all your lights in your house off for 1 hour. 8:30pm-9:30pm. To save our planet from global warming. The people that made this up are going to take pictures of all the countries that have turned their lights off and show the pics to the Chinese people that work in the factories to show them how much people care for our planet. They might stop using so much smoke global warming might get less. If they don't stop u seeing that much smoke, in the future Antarctica will melt and all the water from the ice will flood countries that are close to Antarctica.

SO PLEASE TURN YOUR LIGHTS OFF!

The Monkey and the Flying Hamster

This is a story I made at school, so I hope you like it!

One day Monkey was was swinging on some trees, when he saw Hamster FLYING!!! Monkey said "Wow how did you do that?!"

"Oh, first I pulled some leaves off a branch & stuck them together, then I tied them to my back and jumped off a tree." exclaimed Hamster.

Monkey stared at him for at least 1 minute. "Can you make one for me?" asked Monkey

"NO!!! shouted Hamster. Monkey felt very sad. "Why no-" started Monkey

"Goodbye!" interrupted Hamster. And he walked away.

"I will make a pair of wings myself then!" Thought Monkey. So he pulled lots of leaves off a tree and stuck them together then he tied the wings on his back, He walked to a tree and climbed up, waited for a moment , and jumped off.

"WEEE!!" He yelled. "OH NO!!!!!" he fell splat on the floor!!!

"OUCH!!" Shouted Monkey

Walking to the Garden Centre

Today we walked to the Garden Centre.

When we got there my mum & dad went to get

some fence for the back garden so we (me and

my brother) went to get a pot each.

I got a pot that was,,, in the middle size,,, and my

brother copied!!! Oh well. We went to my parents

and showed them. My mum said "I think it is

too small, you'll only fit one plant in that!"

So I changed the pot (and so did my brother!)

Then we got the seeds. I got Sunflower seeds &

Nemophila, my brother got Sunflower &

Corn. Then we went home.

It's Easter holidays now, so we're in England!
The flight was so boring because it took the whole day!
When we got here we already had a hired car so it took 1 hour to get to my dad's mum & dads house. We had to go straight out to buy me a new coat because I didn't have the right clothes.(In Singapore we never where coats.)
When we were driving in the New Forest, there were some horses on the road and we couldn't get through. These horses just wander around where ever they like. We beeped the horn lots of times but they just didn't go away. Soon there was a car behind us and they still hadn't gone. Finally they decided to walk away.
A few days later, my cousins came from America. They are 12 year old twins. Ben and I wanted to go to Paultons Park, but my cousins wanted to go shopping. I don't like shopping but because they are almost teenagers, they LOVE shopping. Anyway after a few minutes we said that my cousins will go shopping so Ben and I will go to Paultons Park. After that we got in the car and drove there, but when we were going to drive through the gates my dad saw a sign that said..."SORRY WE'RE CLOSED TODAY BUT TOMORROW WE'RE OPEN FROM NOW ON!" I was so disappointed that I cried! I was so disappointed because it was such a good day and we were celebrating my grandpa's birthday the next day! When we were driving back, we saw another place with rides but not as good as Paultons Park! Ben, my dad and I went on the pirate's ship. I sat on the second to the end, Ben & Dad sat in the middle.
We still haven't gone to Paultons Park beauces it has been raining all the time, so I hope I will get a chance to go before we leave.

Walking at Kent Ridge Park

Me and My Dad went to Kent Ridge Park and found a canopy walk which was a boardwalk. We saw a lizard on a tree. We tried to take a picture but it was too fast. There was also a tank, as there was a big battle here during World Way II. I climbed on the tank and slid down it. It was lots of fun.
There were lots of steps and we walked down and there was excercise equipment including a big rope to climb on. I climbed to the top. My dad also climbed to the top.
We also found some swings and there was nobody there except us and the birds and lots of ants. The ants were walking in a long line across the path and onto the grass.
It was a very long walk and there were such nice views. We saw a house with a big garden and dog running down it.
My brother Ben didn't come because he wanted to play at his friend's house but we met him later at a food court. We had chicken rice then we went back home.
I love doing things with my dad (my dad told me to write that).

Yoga after School

After School on Tuesdays I do Yoga. This week was my first yoga lesson so it was just fun and games. My teacher taught me how to do the tree pose and the table pose and lots more.
We got lots of mats and put them together on the floor then my teacher said "the mats are going be ocean, so pretend to swim on top of them", and so we did.

Then she told us to find a mat and sit on it, and when we found a mat she told us to get a partner, so I did. After that we put our feet together and held hands,then my partner went back, so I went forward we did it all over again until my teacher said "stop"!

It was fun working with a partner and learning new things! I can't waite till next time!!!!
